Phillip Schofield lets slip HUGE Saturday Night Takeaway hint - hours before Ant McPartlin is due in court

Phillip Schofield accidentally gave away a huge hint about the future of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway - just hours before Ant McPartlin is due in court to face a charge of drink-driving.

The presenter revealed the secret as he and co-star Holly Willoughby were showing viewers around the brand new This Morning set , which has moved from ITV's Southbank studios to the repurposed former BBC headquarters at White City.

Speaking about the newly transformed Television Centre, Phil let slip there's already potential plans in place to film a 2019 series of SNT - and ITV has even earmarked a location for it.

"I'm sure being here, Phil, must bring back many memories for you," said Holly, referring to her co-host's previous stints at BBC shows.

"It is freaking me out! Because just on the other side there, that glass bit that goes down, behind those stairs on the fourth floor was the broom cupboard. That's where Going Live! was positioned," he told the audience.

"That doesn't exist anymore. And here, there are the three original studios, they're called 'TC' TC1 is the big one, I think Graham Norton's in there at the moment. The next series of Takeaway might be in there, it's that big one behind the wall that says Television Centre."

Not realising he'd just let slip quite a big secret, Phil went on explaining the layout of the new studios.

"And then there's studio 2 which is for Loose Women and Lorraine, and then TC3 which is where we are and Good Morning Britain is in here too, they're on the other side of the wall," he said.

The big studio is where Noel Edmonds' House Party used to be filmed during its eight-year heyday - something that didn't escape some astute viewers.

Phil's giveaway comes just hours before Ant is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court to enter his plea against the drink-driving charge.

He was arrested after being involved in a three-car collision in south west London on March 18, while driving with his mum.

Since the crash, Ant has been holed up in rehab to treat his alcohol addiction.

Originally the hearing was supposed to take place earlier in April, but it's thought Ant's legal team successfully applied to have it pushed back so Ant could receive treatment.

It will be the first time Ant has been seen in public since he went in to the private drying out clinic.

It's not expected that his telly partner Declan Donnelly will be in court to support him, nor his estranged wife Lisa Armstrong.

Since the crash, Ant, his team and ITV have jointly decided to cancel all of his upcoming work commitments - and he's not expected to be back on screen (aside from in pre-recorded Britain's Got Talent footage) for the rest of this year.

But, if Phil's throwaway comment is anything to go by, it seems ITV are hoping to have a fit and healthy Ant back presenting by early next year.
