Why the millennial found the classic FRIENDS problematic?

When FRIENDS featured on Netflix, it was expected that it would receive a tremendous response from across the globe. However, the millennials criticized it for every single thing. They found the show problematic, homophobic etc. for a variety of reasons. And here are some of them:-

1. Ross' obsession with not letting Ben play with Barbie!

This was homophobic according to the millennials. Kids should be allowed to play with whatever they wish. However, what Ross did was no wrong. With her ex-wife and her lesbian lover, Ross clearly didn't want Ben to go in the same direction.

2. Rachel hiring Tag just because he was hot.

Well, that's just too harsh. But it happens. With a boss of character like Rachel, you would expect such decisions.

3. When Joey is perceived as feminine.

This is just too oxymoron. First of all, you say that Ben should be allow to play with whatever he wishes, whether its a Barbie or G.I. Joe. Then you have a problem with Joey bringing out the feminine side with Janine. Or doing Ichiban advertisement for some money.

4. When Ross couldn't handle a male nanny.

Just see how contrasting points 3 & 4 are.

5. When Monica was fat shamed.

Seriously people thought that fat Monica was not fat? Like how? In what sense? She was definitely fat and she was portrayed so. A millennial tweeted that the fat money was just an average sized girl. Like how?

6. When Ross was an obsessive boyfriend

Which boyfriend is not obsessive?

7. When the show was racist.

Okay, we might agree with this fact. But I am pretty sure that the creators didn't have this thing in mind.

8. When Ross dated his student.

Haven't you heard the story of teacher going out with students? Well. Then why do you have a problem with Ross and Elizabeth?

Ross was just wonderful when he bought a bike for Phoebe, but he was so wrong with Pheebs once.

Some are funny! Some are just too ridiculous.!

Monica was underrated, but why did Hollywood stop casting Courteney?
