Survival Of The Fittest has drafted in a fresh recruit following Dani Mas Dyer's shock departure from the ITV2 series.
Welsh waitress and farmer Lottie James has been announced as Dani's replacement, after the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer was forced to pull out of the show on Sunday following a shoulder injury.
Blonde beauty Lottie, who hails from Camarthen, Wales, teases her flirtatious side could lead to the men's downfall in the steamy gender war show.
Survival Of The Fittest sees a team of men and women competing in physical challenges while all bunking up together in a luxurious lodge in South Africa.
The series, which kicked off on Sunday night, is widely expected to fill the gap left by the enormously popular third series of Love Island.
Lottie is a last minute replacement for Dani who dislocated her shoulder in a pre-recorded challenge just hours before the launch show on Sunday.
The blonde has told ITV that she's determined to help secure a girls victory on the show.
'Women are stepping the game up and we are on a similar line to men now. We are in with a good chance of winning!' she said ahead of her debut, adding:
'The girls should win because it’d be amazing for the public to see and also it would give other girls so much more confidence.'
She confessed of her 'secret strength': 'I am so honest so my honesty will be good. I think my flirtatious side will come out so that might make the boys’ games a little weaker.'
And unlike some of her co-stars, Lottie is in it to win it and insists she will be steering clear of the enemy and 'keeping to the Girl Code.'
Although she does have a penchant for 'big, muscly, rugby-looking guys with dark hair.' revealing that 'a few of the Wales rugby boys follow me on Instagram – Gareth Davies – but things like that don’t really interest me that much.'
Dani Mas Dyer has been ruled out of the new reality show after being rushed to hospital, just hours before the show’s official launch.
The 21-year old daughter of EastEnders star Danny Dyer flew to South Africa last week ahead of an appearance on the ITV2 show but a shoulder injury picked up while taking part in a pre-recorded physical challenge has resulted in Dani being withdrawn on medical grounds and consequently departing the show's purpose built lodge, where all 12 contestants will be staying.
An ITV source told MailOnline: ‘Dani injured her shoulder during the recording of a challenge. She was attended to by on site medics and taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
'As Survival of the Fittest involves physical challenges which she wouldn't be able to take part in, Dani isn't in a position to be able to return to The Lodge and will therefore leave the show.'
Speaking after her withdrawal, Dani admitted she was forced to wear a sling, meaning she will not be able to take part in any of the show's grueling physical challenges.
'I will just be sitting around and not be able to compete and I'm not meant to move [my arm] for a week so it wouldn't be fair and there is just no point,' she said. 'I'll just be an extra spare part if I carry on like this.'
The brunette revealed she was gutted to be going home after spending hours in the gym ahead of her trip to the South African Savannah.
'I haven't stopped training since Christmas,' she said. 'I've been dieting. I did Tough Mudder last year and I didn't even hurt myself then.
I've been constantly training up until now and now I've gone and dislocated my shoulder. It is what it is I suppose.
'My experience in the lead up to going into The Lodge was just amazing, I can't put it into words how amazing it was so I am absolutely gutted that I can't do any of the challenges.
'If I could go back and not dislocate my shoulder, I would definitely change it. I hope this isn't the last you've seen of me.'
Dani fell while competing against Callum Pardoe in the Stop The Clock challenge, which sees the players take on an obstacle course, followed by an individual mental challenge.
Speaking after the accident, teammate Georgia Cole, 25, said: 'Dani went down the slide and I think she hurt her arm when she landed.'
Fitness model Jenny West, 31, said she was proud of Dani for trying to keep going despite her injury, saying: 'Oh my God what a trooper… She carried on going!'
